Maybe, a blanket is all you need to build the world.

About Blanket

Blanket is a portable micro-architecture. Homeless people spread out blankets to pevent themselves from the cold and wet ground; meanwhile, they also opens up dwellling posibilities. To open the blanket is to welcome friends to their living room, they can seat together, chat and exchange information and share their dreams. If tired, they can cover the body with blankets, easily take a nap; and blankets become private bedrooms. When it comes to the time to leave, they can fold up the blanket, and the temporary houses disappear at the same time.

Blanket is a place of no where, when Foucalt explains the par excellence of heterotopia-- a boat, it sails from this pier to next harbour, telling the dream of the other places. A blanket can be used to host friends, it can also be a shelter at night. Folding the blanket and take it to next spot, there’s no place named for it. Just like a boat presents the infinity of ocean.
